Victorians lose big on races

Victorians have lost the most money than ever before on sports and race betting, according to the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation. The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission Expenditure data shows gambling expenditure was over 400 million dollars higher in the 2024-25 financial year than 2008-09.
